Program Description
Ages 10+ Elite Athletes have opportunities to compete in a series of tournaments to earn points and qualify for National and International tournaments. Our coaches all have International competition experience and are educated through the National Coaching Certification Program. We encourage our older athletes to also gain leadership experience through beginner coaching courses and assisting athletes and other coaches at training sessions and tournaments. All athletes will also continue their traditional karate classes when training to compete. Competition classes are necessary to learn competition skills, but basics are always the most important. We continue to focus on SMART goal setting and each athlete has a coach dedicated to their progress and ensuring they have a positive experience throughout their competitive journey. |
