Program Description
Ages 13+ Karate is an exciting and engaging activity to help you stay active and healthy! There is nothing wrong with running on a treadmill or lifting weights, but a 60-90 minute karate class is a great way to build your strength, burn some calories, meet new people, and achieve your goals! Karate is a very effective outlet for stress and anxiety. Fitness is one of the best ways to relieve stress and when you can achieve your goals and expand your knowledge, you’ll definitely be growing your confidence and self-esteem too! Our focus is on Goju Ryu Karate and you’ll get to learn traditional karate that is effective and useful in the real world. With a focus on kihon (basics), kata (forms), and kumite (sparring), each class will keep you engaged and excited to continue your martial arts journey.
