
The All Japan Karate Federation - Goju Kai is an organization that Goju Ryu dojos can belong to and receive quality training and instruction. The Ingersoll Goju Ryu Karate club has belonged to this organization for 30 years. Members are able to attend an annual training seminar with opportunities to participate in yudansha promotion tests. Official instructor the JKF Goju Kai are also able to travel around the world to lead training seminars and grading opportunities. They also host an annual tournament where athletes from around the world have the opportunity to compete in kata and kumite divisions.

The Ontario Karate Federation is the provincial sport governing body for karate in Ontario. Athletes have the opportunity to compete in safe, sanctioned tournaments at the recreational and elite level. Elite athletes can compete throughout the year to qualify to compete at the Karate Canada Nationals for a spot on the National Team. The Technical Committee provides training seminars for karate students to learn about other styles of karate. Our Chief Instructor is the representative for Goju Ryu on the OKF Technical Committee. Our instructors receive NCCP Instructor Beginner and Competition Introduction training through this organization.
